COVID-19 UPDATE

Effective March 16, 2020, The following school districts will be closed as a precautionary measure to the COVID – 19 virus.

Whittier Union High School District –  Closed for two weeks due to COVID – 19. This closure will run into the Spring break and is planned to re-open on April 6, 2020

El Monte Union High School District – Closed for two weeks due to COVID – 19. 

El Monte City Schools – Closed for two weeks due to COVID – 19.

Pomona Unified School District – Closed for two weeks due to COVID – 19. This closure will run into the Spring break and is planned to re-open on April 6, 2020

LEARN is partnering with the above school districts and following their lead in maintaining the safety of our students and families. We will be posting further updates as they occur. All LEARN staff should check with their Site Coordinators for further information.

In cooperation with all partner districts, LEARN is monitoring the Coronavirus (COVID-19) situation and updating our response based on information we receive. 

Today we received notification from our partners in El Monte City School District and Pomona Unified School District that all schools will be closed on March 16, 2020 and remain closed for a two-week period. Whittier Unified School District will also be closed for two weeks, starting March 16, 2020, and the will re-open after Spring break on April 6, 2020.

Schools and after school programs are currently expected to reopen on Monday, March 30, 2020.

We are in daily contact with our partner schools as this situation is fluid and may change day to day. We will keep you updated on new information as we receive it.
