Year End Survey Results Show Satisfaction with LEARN among El Monte Elementary Teachers Association
The El Monte Elementary Teachers Association (EMETA) surveyed 177 teachers about L.E.A.R.N.’s ASPIRE program. The results, shown below in graph format, revealed approval and support for L.E.A.R.N.’s programs. The 20 questions on the survey fell into four basic categories evaluating communication between L.E.A.R.N. staff and school staff, the provision of materials for L.E.A.R.N. programs, the environment the programs provide for students, and the leadership and professionalism of the youth leaders.
In each of the four categories, the surveyed members of EMETA had higher approval rates than disapproval rates. In Materials, Communication, and Environment majority of the surveyed EMETA members had strong or moderate approval rates with 61.5%, 55.5% and 55.5% respectively. Given these positive results, L.E.A.R.N. will continue to strive towards 100% approval to ensure the highest levels of communication, material provision, environment, and youth leaders so that L.E.A.R.N. can continue to further the education of the students it serves.
